We are thrilled that Pinnacle Prevention was chosen as the Arizona beneficiary for Whole Foods Market’s 5% Community Giving Day on Thursday, January 10!

When customers shop at any Arizona Whole Foods Market location on January 10, five percent of net sales will be donated to help fund our new Pots to Love program. The Pots to Love program provides slow cookers, toaster ovens, and other kitchen necessities to seniors, young families, and other in-need Arizonans who need the proper tools to prepare their meals.

Programs such as Double Up Food Bucks Arizona help those in need purchase healthy fruits and vegetables, but many people still need a way to cook the produce, making crunchy fruits and vegetables softer before they can enjoy them. By providing individuals and families with basic kitchen necessities, Pots to Love helps Arizonans prepare nutritious, home-cooked meals.

At Pinnacle Prevention, we are dedicated to growing healthy families and communities. That means ensuring our neighbors not only have access to nourishing food, but also have the necessary tools to cook and enjoy it. We are honored to be receiving this incredible support from Whole Foods Market, and can’t wait to provide kitchen necessities to more Arizonans in need.

Eventually, we will also be collecting pots and pans of all shapes and sizes, spatulas, whisks, forks, spoons, and anything else one might need to prepare and enjoy a home-cooked meal. Stay tuned to our blog, Twitter, and Facebook to learn how you can help as this program grows! Get in touch if you or your business is interested in becoming a Pots to Love Sponsor.

Whole Foods Market launched its quarterly Community Giving Day Program in 1993, during which five percent of the day’s net sales are donated to support local nonprofit and community-based organizations that align with the brand’s core values.

We encourage everyone to stop by your nearest Whole Foods Market store on January 10 to help support this special effort!
