What's On Our Hearts and Minds

The Numbers: Parenthood, Family-Friendly Workplaces, and You

Even though we think Mother’s Day should be celebrated daily, our Pinnacle Prevention team took it as an opportunity to celebrate parenthood and mothers all month long. We’ve spent the last few weeks talking about womanhood, motherhood, work-life balance, family-friendly workplaces, self-care and more. We value working parents everywhere, and we put these values into practice every day.

Women’s success is essential not only for every workplace, but for our economy as well. Too many women face a choice between working and taking care of children due to a broad lack of family-friendly policies.  Family-friendly workplaces make it easier for employees – women and men – to balance their lives while fulfilling both family and work obligations. Happier employees are good for business, good for families, and great for our economy.

Check out our infographics to learn why women are vital in the workplace, how family-friendly places benefit society, and most importantly how and why you should take care of yourself when this hectic, exciting life seems overwhelming.

“I love watching my brilliant colleagues thrive as mothers as we all fumble our way through motherhood and life.”
 – Adrienne Udarbe, Executive Director

I love the idea how you embodied the idea being a mom without thinking of other negative factors to say about you. By the way, all women deserve to be respected regardless of your age physical features. We all deserve to be uplifted because of who we are, especially for women. I will support all organizations with the aim to get rid of any form of violence! Thank you for standing up against discrimination too!
