Pinnacle Prevention is dedicated to growing healthy families and communities, and we know that starts in our own homes. Behind our incredible team of women is a team of supportive and brilliant men — our Pinnacle Prevention dads! One of our biggest cheerleaders is our Executive Director’s husband, Ryan Udarbe. Ryan supports our work and mission in every way he can. He is equally dedicated to our success, whether it’s “liking” and sharing our stories we share with you each week, or stepping in to collaborate and help make our efforts the best they can be. To celebrate Father’s Day, we asked him a few questions about being a Pinnacle Prevention dad: What is your favorite activity to do with your Pinnacle Littles? “My favorite thing to do with the kids is explore new foods. Coming from Hawaii, I have been exposing our kids to some of my more traditional and cultural favorites since they were young. They are curious and adventurous eaters and I love this.” What is your favorite thing about being a dad? “Given that our kids are older, I have really enjoyed watching them grow into good humans. I think being involved in work with Pinnacle Prevention has contributed greatly to this.” What is your favorite recipe to make with your kiddos? “I like to make Shoyu chicken with fried rice with the kids. We add pineapple to give it a sweet taste and our fried rice includes lots of green onions, the kids favorite, and veggies.” Today, we’re celebrating the special dads out there who inspire, teach, and uplift those around them each and every day. From everyone here at Pinnacle Prevention, we wish you a happy and healthy Father’s Day! "Dads are most ordinary men turned by love into heroes, adventurers, story-tellers, and singers of song." - Pam Brown
